As you can see, we had a wonderful time at the WOW Christmas Party on Saturday night. Thank you to all who attended, as well as to my awesome Women's Ministry Team for all the effort they put in to planning this event. I missed taking pictures of a lot of people, so if you have some, feel free to post them on the Women of Wapato Facebook page. (I particularly regret not getting a photo of Carol G.!)
With winter seeming to have arrived yesterday, it's time to review our game plan for The Perk. If either Forest Grove or Gaston school districts are closed we will not meet. What should we do if they're on a 2-hour delay? I need your input on that. We could either cancel or do a shortened time together from 10-11. We will meet this Thursday, though if the weather report of snow and sleet comes true, schools may be cancelled, in which case so would we! Kristen S. is slated to bring snacks this week as we study the topic of doubt. I really doubt you'll want to miss it! Our meeting next week, on the 15th, will be our final one until school resumes after the Christmas break.
Our Undeck the Halls party is on Friday, January 6th, at 6 PM at the church. Bring $5 for pizza and drinks and we'll have a quick meal together, take down all the Christmas decorations, and morph right it to Game Night. If your schedule doesn't work for pizza and undecorating, just show up around 7 with a snack to share and a game we might play.
